LIVE MUSIC

The Rockin' Hollywoods will be playing at St. Michael Daze & Knights again this year! They will be entertaining us with their fantastic music on Friday, August 15 from 8pm to midnight.

They are a fantastic band that represents "Solid Gold Rock & Roll" with a repertoire of songs that date from the 1950's to the 80's! The Rockin' Hollywoods have opened for a variety of acts including the one and only Beach Boys. They've also worked with many great artists such as Del Shannon, Bo Diddly, Rick Nelson, The Four Tops, Gary Puckett and Neil Sedaka! With their enthusiastic choreography and classic sound they are sure to be one of the biggest highlights of our festival!

The Mr. Winky Band will also be playing this year's festival on Saturday night from 8PM - Midnight. They were a huge draw to our festival last year and we are looking forward to having them rock out again!

Mr. Winky Band plays covers of KQRS type classic rock n' roll, soul hits from the motown era and even some R & B or country! This band truly has "something for everyone" and is sure to be a crowd pleaser!

The Beer Tent with live music will be hosted by the St. Michael Lions Club. They are organizing a pork chop dinner to start at 5PM on Saturday evening. Come enjoy a great dinner, great beer and a fantastic classic rock band!

On Saturday, in the teen tent from 2-3:30 PM Sheltered Reality will be exhibiting their talents! Sheltered Reality is a youth oriented project that uses music to educate audiences about advocacy for those in need. This organization reaches out to the community by presenting facts, statistics and real life stories. Their message that "doing good is fun" is carried through using percussion instruments and spirited performance!

In addition, The Rezort Band will be playing from 2-6pm on Saturday. More information on this act to come!

On Sunday, entertainment will be provided by Jim Pickler, playing some good old-timey music! His quick wit and country charm are sure to please the crowd. In addition, the Wonderful World of Woody will be returning this year to play music and provide entertainment for the little ones!
